THE CONCEPT
At The Nymph Anthologie we believe art and nature should be the inspiration behind everyday design.
Interiors, clothing, footwear. They shouldn’t be dull, lifeless, colourless. They should be vibrant, warming, and compelling.
The “Greige Movement” is turning our homes into generic, white-washed structures that feel more like waiting rooms than sanctuaries. It is stripping our wardrobes of texture and history, replacing personal style with curated, monochrome uniforms. It is even flattening our lifestyles into a series of algorithmic experiences. We are living in a world of sanded-down edges and muted tones, where every room, every outfit, and every day feels like a template—clean, efficient, simple. Our clothing choices are being decided for us based on ever-changing trends that spurn out the same designs, mass produced to an extent that causes damage to our planet.
And well….we’re just not into that.
Based in Lausanne, our designs start off as original hand-drawn and watercolour-painted patterns (keeping an element of our design process raw, natural, connected to paper and pen), then transferred, cleaned up and evolved digitally for our products. Using colours and intricate patterns are important in our designs so we make sure to reflect this in our work, surrounded by Swiss lakes and mountains that act as our backdrop and inspiration. Followed by zero mass production - just made for you to order, delivered to your door.
